The Canva Pro Graphics & Marketing Specialist creates engaging, professional marketing materials that promote Oak Grove Community Closet's programs, events, volunteer opportunities, donation drives, and community impact. Working closely with leadership, this volunteer helps ensure our outreach is visually appealing, consistent with our branding, and effectively communicates our mission.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys graphic design, social media marketing, and using their creative talents to make a meaningful difference.
Responsibilities include:
- Design graphics using Canva Pro for social media, newsletters, flyers, brochures, presentations, and event promotions.
- Create promotional materials for clothing giveaways, donation drives, volunteer recruitment, fundraisers, and special events.
- Develop branded templates that maintain a consistent look and feel across all marketing materials.
- Design digital and print materials as requested by leadership.
- Create graphics that celebrate volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Assist with developing social media campaigns that increase community awareness and engagement.
- Update existing graphics as programs, dates, or information change.
- Organize and maintain Canva design folders and templates for future use.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure all materials accurately reflect Oak Grove Community Closet's mission and branding.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience using Canva Pro (required).
- Creative eye for design, layout, typography, and branding.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the leadership team.
- Must complete all required volunteer onboarding.
