Help connect families with valuable community services and support!
As a member of the Community Resource Team, you'll assist local nonprofit organizations, community agencies, and service providers participating in our event. Your role is to help ensure our community partners have everything they need while creating a welcoming environment for guests seeking additional resources beyond clothing.
This position is perfect for volunteers who enjoy meeting people, providing excellent hospitality, and helping connect families with programs that can make a lasting difference.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome and assist community partners and vendors as they arrive.
- Help with setting up and organizing the Community Resource Area.
- Check in with participating organizations throughout the event to see if they need assistance.
- Direct guests to community resource tables based on their needs and interests.
- Answer general questions or connect guests with the appropriate organization or event volunteer.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting Resource Area.
- Help community partners pack up and clean their space at the conclusion of the event, if needed.
Requirements:
- Friendly, welcoming, and professional attitude.
- Comfortable interacting with community organizations and event guests.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the event.
- Willingness to assist wherever needed to ensure the Resource Area runs smoothly.
