Come be a part of the biannual celebration of Menokin's Descendant Collective: Descendant's Day 2026.
This event is a celebration of life that hosts over 100 of the descendants of Menokin's enslaved community.
Event Staff will assist with various tasks to include but not limited to: Parking Attendant, Golf Cart Driver, Welcome Tent Assistant, Transition Specialist and General Event Staff.
- What to Expect:
-This is a semi-indoor but mostly outdoor event.
-Be prepared to interact with over 100 people ranging in ages from newborn to senior.
-Lunch, water and snacks will be provided.
- What to Bring/Wear:
-Volunteers should wear blue or black polo with khaki pants and comfortable shoes. CROCS are not suitable for this event.
-Reusable water bottle
-Sunscreen
