Cat Cove, Inc.

Cat Cove, Inc. (CCI) was incorporated on February 1, 2022 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We are a feline only rescue located in Lancaster County, Virginia but we provide support programs for the Northern Neck and surrounding counties. We accept calls from individuals in the community as well as other rescues and shelters when their need involves friendly strays and surrendered pets. We work to provide foster care for these cats and kittens with the goal of adoption, we support pet owners in all aspects of feline care including connecting them with services provided by other organizations, we provide care for managed cat colonies, and we practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) when it is appropriate.

Our mission is to improve the lives of community (homeless) cats through foster care and by promoting adoptions. Our priority when taking a feline into foster care is to provide needed vet care and a nurturing environment to bring the feline into good health for adoption. We also commit to a lifetime of care for felines who are senior, have special needs or have not found their forever home. We have three programs to support this mission: Foster to Adopt Program, Pet Owner and Shelter Support, and Community Cat Colony Support Program.
