The Gloucester Daffodil Festival has been a cherished tradition for over 40 years! We are looking for an Stage Manager to assist with identifying, facilitating, and supporting high quality entertainment during the festival. The Stage Manager will provide creative support to identify cool talent to feature on the Main Stage and ensure that Gloucester gives these entertainers a warm welcome during the festival. Duties include:
- Provide recommendations to staff on musicians and entertainers to feature on stage during the festival that celebrates the annual theme
- Greet the bands as they arrive at the festival to ensure their easy entrance to the stage
- Provide limited technical support during sound setup and elevate issues as necessary
- Facilitate the purchase of drinks, ice, and meals for the band
- Clean the bands' break room after their act
This position will have support from a team of three staff members at Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism. We are flexible to take your creative ideas to make this program your own and help it grow! Commitment is necessary March through April, with mandatory work April 3 & 4, 2027 during the Daffodil Festival.
