Time Commitment: 14 day deployments and 12‑hour
shifts (day or night)
Location: Disaster response sites, warehouses, and shelters (local,
regional, or national)
Be the link that keeps shelters running. As a Logistics Fulfillment (LOG/FUL) Team Volunteer, you ensure shelters receive the supplies they need—food, cots, blankets, cleaning supplies, and more—every single day of a disaster response.
This is a highly active role for volunteers who enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and keeping operations moving.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive and fulfill supply requests from disaster shelters
- Source supplies from warehouses, local vendors, or non‑impacted areas
- Inventory, organize, and load materials into delivery vehicles
- Operate larger vehicles (such as box trucks or cargo vans) to deliver supplies
- Use equipment like forklifts when available to support loading and unloading
- Communicate shelter needs and changing priorities with logistics leadership
Why This Role Matters:
Shelters can’t function without supplies. Your work ensures families have food to eat, beds to sleep on, and essentials for daily living—making a direct, tangible impact on disaster survivors every day.
Why You’ll Love It:
- Make a visible, immediate impact in disaster response
- Stay active with hands‑on logistics and delivery work
- Drive and operate vehicles and equipment with purpose
- Work closely with shelter and operations teams
- Training provided with opportunities to grow into logistics leadership roles
