Lancaster County Little League (LCLL) is searching for a volunteer to join the board as the Umpire-in-Chief to serve as the head umpire for LCLL. The responsibilities of the Umpire-in Chief are listed below.
- Minimum YCLC
Board Responsibilities
- Attend 75% of YCLC Board Meetings
- Attend either Fall or Spring Ballpark Workday
- Work at least 1 fundraiser (Fishing Tournament, Spaghetti Dinner)
- Work at least 1 non-paid concession stand shift

LCLL
Umpire-in-Chief Responsibilities
- Attend D15 Umpire Association Meetings
- Schedule umpires for all Spring and Fall games
- Maintain inventory of umpire equipment and submit requests for equipment purchases as needed
- Conduct annual umpire training.
- Hold a minimum of one umpire recruiting event each year.
- Communicate any rule changes to coaches.
- Ensure all umpires have completed their annual background checks and other required Little League training.
