Being a Lion means knowing that kindness matters. We believe in changing the world by serving the needs of our local communities. More than 1.4 million Lions around the world are responding to local and global challenges with kindness and care.
- We provide sight and hearing screening for all three Lancaster Public Schools, as well as for Head Start and day care, and also adults.
- We pay for free eye exams and eyeglasses for those who cannot afford them.
- We pay for audiology exams and hearing aids for those who can-not afford them.
- We collect, clean and determine the prescriptions for used glass, for distribution to the needy in other parts of the state, the country and the world.
- We provide college scholarships to high school seniors.
- We support a baseball team at Dream Fields, the ball field complex.
- We partner with another Foundation to provide education scholarships in nursing.
