Volunteer Opportunity: Teach, Create, and Inspire
We invite artisans, makers, craftspeople, and teachers to become part of our vibrant guild community! Share your passion by leading classes, demonstrations, workshops, or informal skill-sharing sessions at the Northern Neck Heritage Arts Center.
Whether you specialize in woodworking, fiber arts, painting, ceramics, heritage crafts, culinary arts, music, or traditional skills, your knowledge helps keep creativity and craftsmanship alive in our community.
Volunteer instructors can:
- Teach one-time workshops or multi-week classes
- Lead demonstrations or hands-on learning experiences
- Mentor beginners and emerging artists
- Help develop new guild programs and creative offerings
- Connect with fellow artisans and expand their creative network
Why volunteer?
- Inspire lifelong learning and creativity
- Preserve traditional and contemporary arts
- Meet like-minded makers and community members
- Share your expertise in a welcoming, supportive environment
- Help strengthen the arts in the Northern Neck
All experience levels are welcome — you don’t need prior teaching experience, just enthusiasm for your craft and a willingness to share.
