We are seeking a dedicated CERT volunteer with access to a truck and trailer to assist with transporting essential disaster response items—such as cots, blankets, medical supplies, and shelter equipment—to emergency shelters or staging areas during activations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport shelter and emergency support items to designated sites across Eastern Virginia.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment (may require lifting or coordinating with additional volunteers).
- Maintain communication with the CERT Logistics Lead or Shelter Manager for instructions and updates.
- Ensure safe and secure handling of all transported materials.
