The Float Team is made up of flexible volunteers who provide extra support throughout the event. As needs change, you'll step in to assist different volunteer teams, helping ensure everything runs smoothly and every guest has a positive experience.
This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy variety, can adapt quickly, and are happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist volunteer teams during busy periods.
- Fill in for volunteers who need a break or unexpected assistance.
- Help restock clothing, shoes, backpacks, and supplies as needed.
- Direct guests to the appropriate event areas.
- Assist with setup, organization, and light cleanup throughout the event.
- Support event coordinators with special tasks or unexpected needs.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and volunteers.
Requirements:
- Friendly, positive, and adaptable attitude.
- Comfortable walking throughout the event and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform light to moderate lifting when needed.
- Willingness to jump in wherever help is needed with little notice.
