Friends of Belle Isle,
After consulting with my Cabinet and monitoring the forecast, we have decided to CANCEL our membership meeting scheduled for this Monday, February 2nd.
While we might miss the worst of the snow, the forecast calls for dangerous cold and potentially hazardous road conditions on Monday. As much as I was looking forward to seeing you all, your safety is our first priority. I have postponed our first meeting of 2026 until March 2nd, at the regular time and venue, 4pm at the Belle Isle Visitors Center.
Please stay safe and warm at home. Enjoy the "Winter Wonderland" from the other side of the window, and we will reconvene when the thaw comes.
