Celebrating You During Global Volunteer Month

April is Global Volunteer Month, a worldwide observance dedicated to recognizing the massive impact of individuals who tackle society's greatest challenges. To our dedicated volunteers across the River Counties: thank you.

You are the heartbeat of our community. Whether you are mentoring youth, supporting local libraries, cleaning our waterways or helping build homes, your work creates a ripple effect of positive change. This month, we join thousands of others globally to say "thank you" for helping our communities flourish.

Special April Service Opportunities

To celebrate the spirit of service all month long, we have curated a special list of volunteer events on the Volunteer River Counties website. These featured opportunities are perfect for both seasoned pros and new volunteers looking to jump in for the first time with a new organization. From dropping by information booths to find out about available volunteer roles and opportunities, to digging in to plant trees, clean up a wetland area, or spring cleaning a facility, there is a role for every skill set and schedule. Browse the full list, then bring a friend to one of these informational activities--or come alone and make some new ones!
