Link

T​​he Link is a 501(c)(3) organization, operating since 2012, designed to connect people with the resources needed to become more independent. It is a partnership of churches and helping agencies that functions as a centralized information and referral service for residents of Lancaster and ​Northumberland Counties in Virginia.

To date, the Link has assisted 4300 families, ​an average of 30 each month.

Using an interview process that matches neighbors in need with available and appropriate resources, The Link assists clients in:

• improving the quality of their lives in a manner that builds their self-confidence​​​​​​; 

• meeting the hardships and challenges in their lives​​​​​​.

• Expanding our reach to expanding access to attainable housing

• Providing employment services to increase access to gainful full employment as well as wrap around services to maintain employment
