Who We Are

​The mission of GUEST (Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team) is to respect the divine humanity of all people by providing for the need of basic housing.


GUEST is a coalition of religious and community organizations that was founded in 2014 to provide hypothermic shelter during the winter months. GUEST now operates 12 months a year. From April through November, GUEST is day shelter operating three days a week. From December to March GUEST operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide a day shelter and a night shelter for the homeless in the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck area.


GUEST does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion(creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin(ancestry), disability, marital status, or sexual orientation, in any of its activities or operations.

What We Do

​GUEST is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides shelter services and housing resources for the homeless residents of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck with a drive to move the homeless population toward self-sufficiency.
