The 13th Annual AGB Croquet Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, on the river side of Town Hill, between the Rivers Edge Inn and Riverboat on the Potomac. Rain date of Sunday, September 20, 2026. This is a 36-player tournament with a $35 entry fee per player per match. There will be 6 Matches + Championship Match: 2 at 9:00, 2 at 10:00, and 2 at 11:00. The winner of each match will play in the Championship Match for the Trophy...after lunch at about 1:00 PM. There is no charge for spectators, who are encouraged to support the cause by purchasing Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Wine, Beer, Sodas, Water and Lunch. The Annual Alexander Graham Bell Croquet Tournament is a charity event held on Town Hill in Colonial Beach, VA, typically in late September or early October. The tournament raises funds for local organizations, such as the Volunteer Fire Department & Volunteer Rescue Squad. The event features a competitive 9-wicket rules tournament with players wearing white.
