Who We Are

UUFR is a small liberal religious fellowship with members from Lancaster, Northumberland, Gloucester, Matthews and Middlesex counties. We occasionally have members from other areas in the region. We have no dogma and welcome people who come from all faith or no faith backgrounds. We are a welcoming community of diverse people who search for spiritual meaning in our lives. We are guided by a set of principle that include the inherent worth of all, justice, equity, the use of the democratic process , respect for the earth and all creatures, and the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.

What We Do

UUFR holds services each Sunday morning with a diverse group of speakers including our own minister, other members of the congregation, members of the community and leaders of other faith communities. We hold other events for our members and for the community like Pledge to End Racism, Potluck for LGBTQ+, fall festival and spring egg hunt for the kids on the neighborhood, twice a year road cleanup, adopt a family at Christmas, a Little Free Library, scholarships for one graduating senior at 4 local high schools, and Kids First Foundation for supporting 3perK classrooms.
