Who We Are
The Haven Shelter & Services, Inc. is committed to preventing and eliminating intimate partner violence and sexual violence within our service area, which includes Westmoreland, Richmond, Essex, Lancaster and Northumberland Counties.
What We Do
The Haven provides free, confidential services for individuals and families impacted by intimate partner and sexual violence. We support people of all backgrounds, identities, and immigration statuses through a wide range of programs, including:
- 24/7 Crisis Hotline for immediate emotional support and resources
- Emergency Shelter for those needing a safe place to stay
- Individual Advocacy & Case Management to help survivors reach their goals
- Support Groups to reduce isolation and build connections
- Court & Hospital Accompaniment to provide comfort and advocacy during difficult systems involvement
- Child & Family Services to build resilience in young survivors and their caregivers
- Prevention & Education programs in schools and communities to stop violence before it starts
- Spanish-Language Outreach for survivors in the Hispanic/Latino community
- Immigration Support for survivors who are undocumented or whose documentation has been destroyed by their abuser
