

Who We Are
Our mission is to provide programs to our community that inspire spiritual growth, healing, & well-being. The Bay Center continues its development as an effective resource in our community; helping people pause and reflect on their lives; being a resource for individuals and groups that seek a holistic approach in both their personal and professional lives.
What We Do
Since its founding in 2000, The Bay Center has promoted health and wellness through educational workshops, support groups, and events. Here is a listing of its recent programs and projects:
ü year round grief support groups with average weekly attendance of 10-15
ü a specialized support group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide
ü development of support opportunities for persons who care for family at home
ü a study of the spiritual aspects of the work of psychologist Carl Jung
ü a multi-faceted workshop on movement and mindfulness
ü a workshop on the spiritual dimensions of aging
ü an evening of meditation with a trained instructor
ü workshops centered on the Pledge to End Racism
ü programs that help individuals navigate the issues of growing older
ü a community memorial service for those who have lost loved ones
