Who We Are
RCC transforms lives and communities. Since 1970, Rappahannock Community College (RCC) has been opening doors to opportunity across Virginia’s Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Located in a rural, picturesque area surrounded by rivers and the Chesapeake Bay, RCC is the only postsecondary institution in the 12-county service region and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
What We Do
The College offers two transfer degrees with seven majors, associate in applied science degree in criminal justice, business, nursing, diagnostic medical sonography, and engineering. RCC also offers certificates in high-demand fields and 16 industry-recognized certifications in short-term programs.
The College's Educational Foundation Inc. supports the community by offering low-cost, quality lifelong learning classes through the Rappahannock Institute of Lifelong Learning (RILL) as well as providing scholarships and other financial support to develop students' skills, confidence, and employability.
