Opportunities From: Volunteer River Counties

Volunteer: Volunteer Tutoring: Lancaster Elementary School Students

Lancaster County Public Schools is now recruiting passionate community volunteers to join our Volunteer Tutoring Program—a program that has proudly supported students for over ten years!

As a volunteer tutor, you’ll help students grow academically and gain confidence in their abilities—all under the guidance of a classroom teacher. From preschool through high school, your time and encouragement can make a lasting impact on a child’s educational journey.

Tutors volunteer one hour per week, making it easy to fit into your schedule while still creating a meaningful difference.

If you’re ready to inspire young minds and be part of a valued community tradition, we’d love to have you join us!

Please contact Brenda Pittman, Volunteer Tutoring Coordinator at bpittman@lcs.k12.va.us or the Lancaster School Board Office at 804-462-5100.
