NCHS needs a person who can organize our genealogical and historical collections. This primarily consists of books, which have been catalogued but need to be checked against our digital list and updated. We also keep an identical file index. Many of our patrons like the old-style file. We also have maps, court records, scrapbooks, loose papers, paper files, and digital files that have not been organized or catalogued. Familiarity with Word and Excel is needed.
