Our thrift store is more than just a shop—it’s a vital part of how we support survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence. Proceeds directly fund our services, and the store often provides free clothing, furniture, and household essentials to those in need. We rely on Thrift Store Volunteers to help sort donations, organize merchandise, assist customers, and create a welcoming shopping experience. Whether you have a knack for retail, love organizing, or just want to give back, your time makes a meaningful impact.
*Because of the time invested in training and the importance of this role, we ask volunteers to commit to serving at least 8 hours per month for a minimum of 3 months. This commitment helps ensure volunteers are well-prepared, provides consistency for our team and the individuals we serve, and allows us to make the most of the training and support we provide.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, sort, price, and display donations at The Shoppe for Haven’s Sake Thrift Shop.
Schedule
- Commitment: recurring
- Shifts: weekdays; 8:30-12:30 OR 12:30-4:30 (most needed)
