Volunteer River Counties Info Booth at Dreamfields Opening Night Ceremony & Raffle


Kick off the baseball and softball season while finding new ways to support our community! The booth is a one-stop shop for both Dreamfields / Lancaster County Little League and the broader Volunteer River Counties hub.

Connect with Volunteer River Counties at the Virginia Osprey Festival at Town Hill in Colonial Beach!

While you celebrate the return of the ospreys with nest tours and educational programs, be sure to visit the Volunteer River Counties information booth to learn about volunteer opportunities in Colonial Beach and the surrounding areas. Learn how to register and use the hub to find your next adventure!

Admission: Outdoor exhibits on Town Hill are free to the public; tickets are required for speaker presentations and nest tours.

Menokin has partnered with The Department of Forestry and Friends of the Rappahannock to participate in the 250 for 250th Tree Planting Project. Menokin will be receiving 21 trees and will need help planting them across the vast 500 acres previously home to Francis Lightfoot Lee, signer of The Declaration of Independence.  Volunteers will be assisting staff with staging trees in different areas, digging holes, and properly planting and watering the trees.
