We are thrilled to announce our first official VRC partner networking meeting on Friday, May 29th! We couldn’t ask for a better host to kick off the conversation than the Northern Neck Heritage Arts Center (You might know them as Rice Hotel/Hughlett's Tavern).
Schedule:
Lunch: Arrive any time after 11:00 AM to grab lunch on your own at the Tavern Cafe and catch up with other partners enjoying delicious food prepared by volunteers!
Tour: At 12:30 PM, join up for a guided look at the NN Heritage Arts Center operations. (A self-guided option will be available later for those who can't make this window)
Dessert & Discussion: Meet us in the Tavern Meeting Building at 1:00 PM for dessert and a focused chat with Executive Director Pat Reilly and your peers.
We really want to shine a light on the incredible work Pat and her team are doing—specifically their Volunteer Guild program. This is a unique opportunity for a "living case study" on their model for engagement with volunteers as partners--and to gain insights directly from their Guild members.
