About Barbara Hoxsie: I moved to the Northern Neck from NY 6 years ago and retired shortly after.
When I could not find yeast during Covid, and as I faced retirement,
I started baking sourdough. I fell in love with the process as well as
the delicious bread! Soon, I was fortunate to meet some of the great
people from the Tavern and then to be given the gift of baking sourdough
for the Tavern Café. I look forward to sharing the fun of making
sourdough with others!
