Splash or Bubbly Turtle class: This fun and festive turtle will be painted on a 12 inch round wooden surface that is 1/4″ thick. Students will finish this fun piece and take home this festive Turtle with your choice of splash or bubbles, or both for the background. Demonstrations and a talk about materials and supplies used will be given.
All supplies are included: brushes, paint, reference photos, and the 12″ round wood surface will be provided with roping around the edges and a hanger on the back.
Janet Hockman has taught many classes at the RHHT Heritage Arts Center, as well as in Kentucky, North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and Alabama. She believes that art should
evoke a memory and help us express our feelings. Working in a variety
of mediums helps her and her students do just that. Although she loves
making her own art, her true passion has been teaching others to ‘tell
their story’ while helping them find their own talent and abilities.
