Ware Episcopal Church is one of four church parishes established in the region pre revolution. Ware was established in 1652 and has been a worshipping community since then. 2026 will be Ware's 375 anniversary. The congregation at Ware is a welcoming community. We are eager to have your help with this community effort.
What We Do
The Gloucester Farmers Market at Ware Church is held every 2nd Saturday, May through October with a special Christmas Event the 2nd Saturday of December. The market is in its 4th season and was started as a space for the community to gather. The space is inviting to walk, for children to play and is set up with a space to sit with friends. The market offers 50 vendors monthly with 800 visitors each market. The Christmas market doubles the number of vendor and visitors. This market is not a church fundraiser, with any funds raised beyond expenses are donated back to community causes. The market is a labor of love, completely carried out by volunteers.
