Who We Are
Local citizens dedicated to Eleanor Park in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The Park was deeded to residents for recreational use in 1882. Friends of Eleanor Park Inc. is a 501(c)3 charity, dedicated to the conservation of Eleanor Park as open green space.
What We Do
We advocated Conservation Status and succeeded! We work to keep the park in conservation status thereby preventing it being sold and developed into lots for high end residential housing and investment housing. We raise money to help with improvements, including benches and planting.
