Who We Are
Our mission is to nurture community, sustainability, and justice in Westmoreland County, Virginia and beyond. We're a new organization, so we're restoring the 4 acres of wetland on our 5 acre site and pulling together a master plan for the site so we can create a mulched perimeter walking path, and one day build a sustainable barn/workshop/classroom for field trips and retreats.
What We Do
We offer free programs and services (Spanish in the Community, English to Speakers of Other Languages, paid internships) in nearby community spaces while we rehabilitate and restore our 5 acre Tucker Hill site. We're hauling out trash, planting natives, and hand-clearing the walking path.
